If you're considering permanent holiday lighting this year, the best time to start is before that moment arrives. Here's why fall is a smart time to plan your installation, and what the process looks like from your first question to the first night your lights come on.

You get to use your lights before the holidays. A permanent system isn't only for December. Once it's installed, you can run warm white on everyday evenings, switch to autumn colours for Thanksgiving, and put on a Halloween display. You get months of use before Christmas even arrives.
You have time to learn the app. The Celebright app lets you choose from more than 16 million colours, save your favourite looks and set schedules. Setting it up in the fall means your holiday display is ready and tested well before your guests arrive.
You skip the ladder altogether. With permanent lighting, nobody in your household needs to climb onto a cold roof this year, or any year after.

What the Process Looks Like
1. Send us your address. In many cases, we can take measurements from Google Maps, so you don't need to book a visit. For homes with heavy tree cover or complex rooflines, we'll arrange a site visit, a video call or a phone call.
2. Get your free estimate. Pricing depends mainly on the linear footage of lighting. We'll recommend which rooflines to include and point out any section that isn't a good fit.
3. Choose your track colour. The aluminum track comes in more than 100 colours and 11 profiles, so we can match it to your fascia. In most homes, it sits under the fascia, where it's barely visible during the day.
4. Installation day. We install the track and lights and, where possible, run the wiring through your attic, so no cables show on your exterior walls.
5. Your walkthrough. Before we leave, we show you how the system and app work.
Set It Up Once, Enjoy It Every Season
Once your system is in, you can schedule each season's look ahead of time:
October: orange and purple for Halloween night
November: warm white that turns on at sunset
December: your holiday display, starting on the date you choose
January onward: back to everyday warm white, with nothing to take down
Schedules can follow sunrise and sunset, so your lights come on at dusk as the days get shorter, without you touching a thing. You can also control everything with Google Home or Amazon Alexa.

Permanent lighting stays on your home year-round, so it has to handle the weather. Celebright's bulbs are rated IP68, the connectors are waterproof, and all components are rated to work from -40°C up to 85°C.
