Permanent Holiday Lighting in King City, Ontario
The Sempra Effect.
King City’s #1 Permanent Holiday Lighting Solution
King Township looks different from the rest of York Region. The Oak Ridges Moraine brings rolling hills, and the area has horse farms, large estate lots and homes set well back from the road. Evenings here are darker, and a well-lit home stands out.
Sempra Illuminations brings Celebright permanent holiday lighting to King City and communities across the Township. It's a single installation that gives your home a warm architectural glow on ordinary nights and full colour for the holidays. You control it from your phone, whether you're in the kitchen or halfway around the world.
Sempra is based in nearby Richmond Hill, so King is close to home for our team.
Lighting Homes With Space Around Them
In a subdivision, you see a house from ten metres away. In King, you might see it from the end of a long driveway, across a paddock, or through the trees. That affects how permanent lighting should be designed.
The goal is a clean, continuous outline that reads clearly from a distance. Celebright's frosted 20 mm bulbs spread light widely and evenly. From across the property, a lit roofline looks like one smooth line instead of a string of separate dots.
Brightness is adjustable, which matters in darker rural settings. You can keep the everyday glow gentle and turn it up for the holidays.
Designed for Stone, Brick and Long Rooflines
Estate homes often have long, complex rooflines, with stone or brick exteriors and detailed trim. Celebright is built to blend in:
Colour-matched track. More than 100 aluminum colours are available, so the track can match your fascia instead of contrasting with it.
Low profile by day. In most homes, the track slides under the fascia, so the system is barely visible in daylight.
Fitted to the architecture. With 11 track profiles, we can adapt the hardware to different roof and trim details.
Room to grow. The system is modular. It can extend beyond the house to decks, pergolas, fences and stairs, now or later.
On larger properties, this flexibility means you can start with the main roofline and expand over time.
Control From Anywhere
Many King homeowners travel, commute or spend time away from the property. Celebright is cloud-connected, so with Wi-Fi at the home you can control the lights from the free iOS or Android app or a web browser anywhere with an internet connection.
You can also set schedules for specific dates and times, or have the lights follow sunrise and sunset. Your home can light up at dusk on a winter evening while you're still on the road. For quick everyday control, the system also works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
Three Villages, One Township
Most of King Township's residents live in its three main villages, and Sempra serves all of them, along with the rural properties in between.
King City is the Township's largest village. It sits on the Oak Ridges Moraine, with a walkable village core, established residential streets and nearby estate properties.
Nobleton lies just south of the moraine, surrounded by hills and forests, with many horse farms on its eastern edge. Schomberg, north of the moraine, is the smallest of the three villages and has a historic main street.
Beyond the villages, King's countryside includes multi-acre estates, equestrian properties and homes on large rural lots. We'll design around your property, whatever its size.
Next door, we also serve Vaughan, Aurora, Newmarket and Richmond Hill.
Evenings Worth Coming Home To
With more than 16 million colours and a dedicated warm-white channel, the same system can mark the year's big moments:
Classic Christmas colours while family visits over the holidays
A soft, glowing display for Diwali
A red-and-white roofline for the Canada Day long weekend
A warm, elegant glow for a summer wedding or celebration hosted at home
A spooky display for Halloween
Steady warm white on the long nights around the winter solstice
Save each display once, schedule it, and it comes back automatically every year.
King City Permanent Lighting FAQs
Our home sits well back from the road. Will the lighting still be noticeable?
Yes. Homes that are set back are where a clean, continuous outline matters most. Celebright's diffused bulbs give an even line of light that reads clearly from a distance. We plan the layout around the parts of the home seen most, such as the front roofline, peaks and entry.
Can we control the lights when we're away?
Yes. The system is cloud-connected, so with a Wi-Fi connection at the home, you can change colours, adjust brightness or turn the lights off from the app or a web browser wherever you have internet access. Schedules keep running automatically. If your property has an unusual internet setup, mention it during the estimate.
Can the lighting extend to a fence, deck or outbuilding?
The system is designed for modular expansion. It can be extended to decks, pergolas, fences and stairs, now or in a later phase. For other structures on your property, ask us during the estimate, and we'll let you know what's practical.
Do you serve Nobleton, Schomberg and rural King, or just King City?
We serve the whole Township of King, including King City, Nobleton, Schomberg and the rural properties in between. Sempra is based in nearby Richmond Hill, so the Township is well within our regular service area.
Can you quote a large rural property from Google Maps?
Often, yes. Estimates are free, and in many cases we can get the measurements we need from Google Maps. Large estates, homes surrounded by trees, and complex rooflines are harder to measure from aerial images, so some King properties may need a site visit. We're happy to arrange one, or a virtual meeting or phone call.
